MAUREEN MADDEN
Hi I am Maureen Madden and I am standing as a community independent candidate in the May elections. I previously served as a councillor in the Howdon ward for 17 years leaving in 2023.
I am well known in the area of Wallsend/Howdon for my years as serving the community not only as a councillor but through my work as a welfare benefits advice worker and chief executive of the Wallsend Mem. These are posts I held for over 30 years. I would welcome the opportunity to serve the residents locally once again along with other independent candidates as a way of combating the everyday issues effecting the lives of North Tyneside residents in the future.
