Hi I’m Chris Johnston. I was born and raised in North Shields and I work in North Tyneside. As a young person I know the challenges facing young people in the area. No 6th Form College in the area, lack of opportunities for good well paid jobs and lack of affordable housing.
I have become disillusioned with the lack of progress North Shields has achieved. I want to give young people the representation that they need, and deserve. I would like the opportunity to do this by becoming a councillor in North Shields. Please vote for me and other independent candidates standing in your ward. Let’s put local back into local government and put people before politics.
